Bye Bye, Mombai

Ilana's luggage finally checked into Kennedy Airport at 6:30 this morning. I hope it spent the last three days in some exotic locale like the luggage storage facility in the Bahamas. More likely, it's been sitting in Atlanta.

I know it sounds a little strange, but I will miss talking with my new friends in India. I know them only by their manufractured, American-friendly names; Fred, Charity, and Lakisha. I wonder how many Lakishas there are roaming around the streets of Mombai?

All kidding aside, I will miss their quarky politness. Their infectious manners made it impossible for me to lose my temper. We Americans can learn a lot from these hard working, minimum wage-earning foreigners.

Nu? You're in NY for over 2 days and all I hear about is lost luggage? Typical native NYer - still doesn't feel like a vacation yet... I had to do a double-take and then I realized the author of the post wasn't Judabear...

I was busy updating my girl's show journal (and I came in to take a peek). I know... a blogger addict I am becoming... perhaps you too?

Hugs to the extended mishpucha from way out west
XOXOXOX

Ilana is the big winner, she wound up with more then she packed.. let's hope everybody's luggage arrives with the Goulds on the same plane/day/time for the remainder of your vacation. Mom
